Hamza Nazar’s amazing knock of 54 not out with the help of five 4’s and three 6’s guided Lahoris to their much-deserved victory. Farzan Raja’s 28 runs from 16 balls came at the right time and assisted Hamza in chasing the target set by Rawalpindi. A great partnership by these two youngsters proved to be extremely beneficial in this nail-biting thriller. Another addition to the great performances was that of Ahsan Mirza’s magical bowling spell taking 4 wickets and giving away 27 runs also helped restrict Rawalpindi to 165 runs.
Rawalpindi on the other hand, with the help of Sohail Akhtar’s 44 runs in 25 balls were able to set a target of 165 runs for Lahori Qalandars. They suffered with their batting line and were unlucky in defending the run chase as well which unfortunately lost them the chance of being in the semi-final.
Advisor to CM, Aun Chaudhry also graced us with his presence. He said, “Player Development Program is an excellent initiative by Qalandars and it will prove to be a great platform for youngsters to develop their skills and represent Pakistan one day. ”
The semi-finals will be played between KP Qalandars vs Faisalabad Qalandars and Kashmir Qalandars vs Lahori Qalandars tomorrow which can be followed live on social media forums of Lahore Qalandars
