A brilliant spell by Farzan Raja who took 5 wickets and gave away 17 runs made the run chase difficult for Gujranwala Qalandars. Shehzad Ali’s 59 from 47 balls helped Lahori Qalandars set up a target of 174 runs for Gujranwala. Asif Khan assisted in setting up this total with his 49 runs in 34 balls.
In response, Gujranwala Qalandars was restricted to 151 runs in 20 overs owing to Farzan Raja’s exceptional bowling spell which also earned him the man of the match trophy. Ashir Malik from Gujranwala scored 44 runs in 27 ball but was sent back to the pavilion before he could score his half century.
