Lahore June 11: PCB takes strong exception to a news item published in Nawai Waqt on 10th June 2017 about it being  tax evader. PCB wishes to clarify that PCB is & has always been a responsible corporate citizen, always paying all its dues & especially its due taxes on time. Currently there are no overdue taxes on part of PCB neither it has received any notices with regard to Pakistan Super League (PSL) for which all due taxes have already been deposited in government treasury.

Secondly, the name of Mr. Najam Sethi, Chairman PSL is being unduly stated in the subject news report with mala fide intentions & PCB strongly condemns such attempts to tarnish his image since all tax notices, as a matter of routine are always addressed to the Principal Officer of PCB and he is in no way responsible for taxation of PCB.
